The Brand New album from Rhys Fulber's ( Delerium, Front Line Assembly etc ) Conjure One project. Having built a strong worldwide fan base with his awesome debut - solo self titled album ( Released in 2003 ), Fulber returns in August with a brand new album entitled "Extraordinary Ways". As with his debut, "Extraordinary Ways" features vocal performances by several female singers while musically it is a blend of lush synth textures, atmospheric, haunting melodies and driving electronic rhythms. However, whereas the first album drew its principal inspiration from Mediterranean and Middle Eastern musics, Fulber explains that "these songs are more about life and experiences this time, rather than visions and landscapes. "Conjure One" was more of a Middle Eastern travelogue, while "Extraordinary Ways" is more of an internal journey". For the first time in his career, the new album sees Fulber on vocal duties, delivering a unique modern take on the oft-neglected Buzzcocks classic "I Believe". Two singers from the first Conjure One album also return in the form of Poe ( on tracks "Endless Dream", "One Word" and "Extraordinary Way" ) and Chemda Kalili ( on the track "Forever Lost" ), while new vocalist collaborators are Tiff Lacey ( on "Face The Music" ) and Joanna Stevens ( on "Dying Light" ). The London based composer Chris Elliott also returns to assist with string arrangements.
