Fact is, all you do gooders brush over this stuff but dont you all realize this is a situation where someone, Kevin, is basically saying "screw you" to everyone. It is insulting to all his/her opponents and if I were in Steve's shoes, it would irk me too. It is blatant disregard and not very good traits to have if you are customer service.
