She was a child of the stars, she was full of charm
Sometimes laughing on my knees, sometimes crying in my arm.
She called loud out, my name - pulled me on my hair
Her gaze sometimes silly with her eyes so fair.
She was a child of the stars, she was straight and frank
and the world she had to shoulder seemed of burden blank
Now for her there's no direction, she's fed up by crank
About the train of no return remained the song she sang
nor black neither white
isn't fire isn't ice
she has no way no view
in her memory-slice
Nor yes neither no
isn't water isn't stone
she somewhere got lost
won't find her way back home.
She was a child of the stars, was raised in perfect guide
What's being wrong, what's being good, her sense had realized
Now she's just mute and omniscient, and left it far behind
that some are barking with the masses, some dare no bark of any kind
nor black neither white
isn't fire isn't ice
she has no way no view
in her memory-slice
Nor yes neither no
isn't water isn't stone
she somewhere got lost
won't find her way back home.
Now she's lieing on my knees like on a far, far ray
as if she'd try to spot the distance to a hide-away
She was a child of the stars, no problem could appear
I'll never understand, what really happened here ...
nor black neither white
isn't fire isn't ice
she has no way no view
in her memory-slice
Nor yes neither no
isn't water isn't stone
she somewhere got lost
won't find her way back home.
