I am reading One Thousand White Women at the moment. It's a fictional writing based on history. A Million Little Pieces was so good I had my 15-year-old son read it (he's at that pivotal age). He fell in love with it of course. It was an eye-opener for one so young. And now I don't have the heart to tell him that large portions of the book are fiction....very good fiction nonetheless. lol 30. märts 2006, 02:11:13 Teema: Re: The Grapes of Wrath The Usurper:I enjoyed that book too. James Frey admitted that parts of the book were not true. They are saying the same thing now about The DeVinci Code. All that publicity just sells more books so let them keep on talking! |
