Well I guess it was beter to have someone to enter the tournament then to not be able to enter the tournament at all.

An idea would be to possible allow teams to enter with less players, and just enter a "ghost" player that will just take 2 game loses for the team - BUT would allow the rest of the team to enter.

Whats happened to the top fellowship in section 1?
And you cant open the game tables in the round table either

If a fellowship has been deleted????? will it stop the tournament progressing?

Well, I didn't expect somebody would delete a fellowship which is already playing a team tournament. I'll have a look who did it.

RamblinMaam: Just checked spider line 4 and there is someone in there over 1800 as well, I am over 1700,(didnt realize this when I went to sign up) and it told me my rating was too high to get in. Not sure why others are allowed in with over 1800 rating, unless they signed up as unrated and now have a rating?

25. December 2004, 00:52:18
BuilderQ
Ratings can change between the time a player signs up for a tournament and the time that the tournament starts. Once a player has signed up, the system will let them play even if their rating ends up far out of the tournament's bounds.

I'm signed up for a tournament of this type:

Tournament type (?): two games (switched colors) for each two players
Maximum number of players per section: 8

How many free slots do I need when the game starts? Would it be 14, since there's (probably) seven people other than me in the section, and I'd be playing two games with each of them? Is there someplace where this is explained?

Subject: Re: Number of concurrent games
troydaniels: 10 is correct. (Even though you may start up to 14 games to take you over your limit), the computer only checks for 10 free spaces to start.

If it was only one game for each two players, you would only need 5 free spaces.
