you cant delete a tourny game can you?
normally resigning a game within a coupkle of moves doesnt affect bkr does it

I think you need to delete the game, not resign.

Dilema. Do I resign the games and lose the tourny, or take umpteen years to play it :o(

If I resign the games i wont lose bkr i guess

what happens if the final game in a tournament is a draw ?

i am in a line 4 tournament now .. in the first round we all had to play two games with our opponents, one with white and one with black. in the final round we only play 1 game .. why is this ?

... and it's not a record - there was a time which you could choose the "year" back to 2002, but I think Fencer changed it to only include 2004 & 2005. (Use to be able to set the date up to 2024, but again Fencer changed it.) :-)

That would be cool.. but pretty expensive (depending on the size of the teams) .. I was thinking of something not TOO costly..

I think a Prize Team Tournament would be cool.
6 month or 1 year rook prizes for each member of the team would be rather steep, I think. So maybe if the team size were 6 people, each member could get 2 months added to their rook membership...
    Just a thought!

UE: bwild has nothing to apologise for. He was just commenting on a topic raised by your post.

To clarify matters for pawns buying a membership.
If you were brought to the site by another player (a member) you can add their ref no. in the box provided on the purchase page.
These 'brains' can be collected and used to buy memberships (maybe items from the gift shop).
DON'T be bullied or coerced into donating these 'brains' to just anyone - whatever they purport to be offering. They are essentially a 'reward' for introducing a paying member to the site.

Steve: Have you tried giving Fencer a nudge about your brains? I mean, he's getting on a bit now and the old memory isn't what it was. :D

    11. November 2004, 09:55:18

Ive only got 50 brains :o( I had 100 before the big crash, then lost 50 and never got them back, also ive not had any given to me since then when i have got memberships for friends etc :o(

    Subject: Re: Prize tournaments.
bwild... that's the conclusion I reached when I read UE's post, that he's asking new members to put his number as a referral to gain the 'brains'.
    Perhaps that's UE's good cause?
The logic must be, UE solicits 'brains', creates a prize tourney using those 'brains' to buy the prize membership, and sits back and gets the credit.
The fact is, Fencer doesn't benefit by one penny. No revenue is created.

I don't know what 'Brains of Space' has got to do with it as I'm not in Fencer's fellowship. Maybe I've got it completely wrong and the matter has been ok-ed in that fellowship and Fencer has given his permission for UE to beg for brains.

After UE's posts on General Chat perhap he would be better off begging for his brainking existence.
