Reviewing
the Department's handling of the Black Panther case and the news that
the IG is looking into the work of the Civil Rights Division, Jennifer
Rubin, writing in the Weekly Standard concludes:

[D]espite
the Obama team's best efforts to stonewall and the mainstream media's
indifference to an abuse of power in a Democratic administration, the
notion that the New Black Panther party case is "no big deal" is
crumbling. We know that a high ranking political appointee presented
misleading testimony under oath and that multiple witnesses would
testify to the Obama administration's hostility to the equal enforcement
of our civil rights laws. Now an internal investigation is exploring
those issues. In a Republican administration that would be front-page
news.

Many believe that a bipartisan majority would approve the
across-the-board approach today if Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader
Harry Reid (D, NV) would permit a vote.  It ought to come quickly,
before the November elections, so voters will know where everyone
stands.  And our economy could get some much-needed good news.


But

we won't see this happen because the lying libs want to create a crisis and blame it on the Conservatives.  Why?  They want votes.  That's their plan.  They are going to lose big in November so they want to minimize losses.  And they don't care that you will get hurt in the process.

in both corporate and personal income taxes” to end a recession. It passed and it worked.  The YouTube video of JFK’s speech is worth watching.

But the lying left will spin away from this one anyway:

If anyone isn’t bearing their fair share, it’s certainly not them. 
Trying to make the wealthy bear an even larger burden than they do now
will hurt the entire economy.

Like it or not, those who can spend more freely provide a wealth of jobs
for everyone else.  Punishing them ends up punishing blue-collar
people.  The classic example was the 1990 luxury tax imposed on jewelry,
yachts, private planes and more.  Congress repealed it after thousands
of layoffs occurred in those industries and the added unemployment costs
exceeded the luxury tax revenue.

Obama wants to bring down the rich (those that create jobs) simply because it can make him look good.  He knows this will hurt the economy and will stop job creation in its tracks.  But he doesn't care.  Obama's plan is simple:  Expand the power of the Federal government and micro manage all aspects of American life.  Liberals are lemmings.  They just follow him off the cliff because that's what lemmings do.  

Obama’s selective approach hurts the very group that creates the jobs we
need; the entrepreneurs who are holding back from expanding and
creating jobs due to Obama’s impending higher taxes and heavier
regulations; the 5 per cent who are credited with 37 per cent of
consumer spending.  As
The Wall Street Journal reports, “According to new research from
Moody’s Analytics, the top 5% of Americans by income account for 37% of
all consumer outlays.”

The problem with the "fear monger" defense the liberals use is that it distorts the truth. While there is ZERO evidence that the Tea Party is racist (actually the evidence is to the contrary, they are very inclusive) the liberals put out the false charge off racism. Why? To create fear and garner votes. It's all about votes to the lying left. They will do anything to get votes. And lying to the people is at the top of their list.

Case in point: Obama. He's nothing but a liar. He campaigned on centrist values. But he governs hard left. He promised transparency. But he makes deals behind closed doors. He promised that passage of Obama Care would NOT cause a rise in health care premiums. On average they have gone up over a thousand dollars a year. He said he would not tax people to pay for Obama Care. But that's exactly what he is NOW saying he will do. There is nothing good about that man as president and the sooner he is neutered, the better for all of us. Where's Jimmy Carter when we need him?
