Right, with one exception. They can see you on the page of the game you're playing with them, while you can't see them. I have reported this bug bazillion years ago, but it still remains to be fixed. :)

And he/she can't invite you to any games nor accept any games that I post to the waiting games?

That is correct.

What about the scenario I described then?

Such a scenario can easily happen. :)
