BerniceC: Yea, it looks like the pond was still a 50/50 chance for either player.

If Tony bet 1 more then pedro, then he took the chance that pedro would have just bet the min. amount of 99 and would have won that way.

With it still close like that at the end - it was still a good chance for either of them to win.
