Assunto: Re:While destroying homes in other countries. :)
Artful Dodger: now who is putting words in peoples mouths?? I didn't think she implied that at all...a bit touchy, are ya?? so...let me get this straight...YOUR words..."but you said that even though he was doing good in Africa, he was also destroying homes in other countries. That's not accurate" ok,so it's NOT accurate that he is destroying homes...BUT you also say in the same post..... People killed, property destroyed. That is true. These things have happened. ummmm,NOW I am confussed..... "Israel is killing innocent civilians. It's inaccurate." so the lil 12 year old boy,or however old he was that I just saw on the news that was KILLED...he was not an innocent civilian???
The problem with Blagojevich is that I believe he was planning on bigger and better things (like a President run at some point), so this "scandal" has really thrown a wrench into his plans.
Of course I don't think bigger and better things are possible, but by resigning or running away, it will make him look guilty and will most defiantly be little chance of him moving on to bigger & better things - and the only hope (small one now) that he has is to deny & fight back.

Artful Dodger: arent you lucky that Srnity isnt here any longer......she would be up you like a rat up a drain pipe LOL...talking about "blacks" like that
Czuch:i don't know, they already had him under investigation for other stuff, now everyone has abandoned him,His party shuns him like he has leprosy, the media has him guilty and the feds want him bad enough, then he's going down , fair or not.
Tuesday: What is it called when you discount someone who is a qualified candidate simply because you dont like the guy who nominated him?
BTW, I think this guy bloggo, or whatever his name is, is not going to be found guilty. In politics there are always some form of payment for everything. It doesnt have to be money, it can be clout or even a meeting can be considered "payment" of a kind.
When you are considering an appointment among many qualified people, its part of normal politics to get something in return for it... you pat my back I pat your back, who can pat your back the best?
But it doesnt mean that he waqs actually going to accept cash money from the highest bidder and give them the nomination?
Anyway, I hope the FBI has him actually accepting a true bribe and acting upon it, or else it is all circumstantial conjecture, and if they dont have him red handed taking bribe money, then I think it will just be another bad example of politics as usual!
(V): security depts. FBI, CIA, etc... were not cooperating with each other with information, now they all answer to homeland security and information is centralized and more accessible between law enforcement agencies
Vikings: Yeah well, we've seen over here politicians make new jobs for the boys.... Half the time they are just duplicating other peoples roles and are just high paid 'front men' so that the government looks like it's doing something.
