Assunto: Re: that that messenger service is turned back on, and those pop up messages start coming fast & furious again. So I seem to have to shut it back off each time I come online. Hopefully after this upgrade is installed this will stop??

rod03801: You have probably tried this but just in case, go to start then run then type in MSCONFIG click ok this opens a box, look for startup in the menue at the top click on that then look for msmsgs, if that box is checked uncheck it, that is how I stopped mine starting up each time. It says msn but mine is windows too. If it don,t work the first time do it a few times and let the pc reboot.
