I need advice on whether I should give this poem to somebody that I've liked for a while or not. I wrote it for him...

"Words Aren't Enough"
I've never had a boyfriend
Or someone who seemed good enough
For me to share my feelings with
When life's troubles got too tough

You can always make me laugh
Or even show a smile
I love spending time with you
For just a little while

Who has the perfect face
and feelings that are so true
No one that I know of
Can half compare to you

People said so many things'That turned out to be lies
I don't care about the details
Of looks shape, or size

I'm writing this poem for you
Because you mean so muh to me
Words Aren't enough to express
What I hope is meant to be

...We used to be so close, but my frien is kind o taking him away, so should I give it to him as a last stitch effort, or no? Please help, thanks!
