Teema: Turkish Checkers rules by Alemanni
Look http://perso.orange.fr/alemanni/turkish.html please! I see diagonal moves and captures here! Is it wrong?
Dear Turkish players! You need an officional page like http://www.usacheckers.com/index.php in USA where we can see the official rules in English!

Dear Jaak,

There is no diagonal moves in Turkish Checkers. I have sent an email to the site owner. Thanks for your note.

For an official site, there should be a federation first. There is preparation for application for federation as I know.
Thanks for your support.

Alemanni has replied to me. He corrected those pages about Turkish Checkers.
http://perso.orange.fr/alemanni/turkish.html
Alemanni arkadasimiz ilgili sitedeki capraz alim ile ilgili hatayi duzelttigini haber verdi.
-------------------------
We have tested other rules of Turkish Checkers with Tutagil. There is an additional bug about capturing the king by a pawn. Exampe 7 of ( http://brainrook.com/archives/65-Turkish-Checkers.html )
Brainking does not allow a pawn to continue to capture the opponents king located at the 8th row. Normally a pawn can capture the opponents king as a pawn, not as a king.

You can analyze the test game here:
Türk daması (damatest vb. Tutagil)

Bektas bey ile yaptigimiz testte, tas alarak damaya cikan tasin, bitisikteki rakip dama tasini alamadigini gorduk. Bu da hatalardan biri.
------------------------
If a player can not move: Brainking succesfully apply the right rule here. You can analyze the test game for this rule. There is no problem with this rule.
Türk daması (Atila vb. Tutagil)

Bir taraf tasi oldugu halde hareket edemiyorsa oyunu kaybediyor. Bu kuralda sorun yok.

I think we have tested all rules of this game.

Thanks

Atila: Türgi kabe (Atila vs. Tutagil)
It is neccessary to capture 5 pieces here (BrainKing allows moves with capturing 3 or 4 pieces too).
5. ... h1xh3xf3xd3xb3xb1
Is it right that black cannot cross the piece b2 twice and then capture 6th piece on the same move: 5. ... h1xh3xf3xd3xb3xb1xb5(b6)?

No. You can analyze the example 4 in the document:

Atila: Thank you, I see now the forbidden reverse direction
capture in Example 4.

Example 3 shows that it is possible to cross a piece twice!

There is not any Coup Turc in Turkish Checkers. We can see the mythic
Turkish capture in the end of  Arena
Draughts Rules
(to understand this notation you need to keep
mouse on any black field) but Turc was a player from Netherlands.

It is possible to cross a location (not a piece) for more than twice. Only the next move can not be the reverse.

Coup Turc is interesting rule. I wondered the source of this rule. Because, as you have noted, in Turkish Checkers, you remove captured pieces as you capture, to be able to capture other pieces those are initially closed. And also to get rid of being captured twice and for simplicity as well.

Do yu know about the history about Coup Turc describing the origin?

Thanks

Atila: I am not at home now with my books, Turc lived in 18-19th century as I
remember. Some history you see in http://www.fmjd.nl/?p=genhist .

You can play by yourself: Turkish Draughts.
Then it must be easy to test, are the rules right there?
