wayney: I have no hatred and I am sorry you take it as pointless dribble. I was following the thread discussing Moderating problems and why there is conflict.
wayney: Actually the access to that board got changed to Rook read/write access.
It has now been changed back to the default of Guest can read, Pawns can write. I will check all public boards to make sure the default has not been changed on other boards.
<fencer is busy, and I hate to bother him.
well,as you probably know.I dont chat very much, except for a few friends.
I dont engage in any of the dysfunctional arguing or baiting, tho I am aware it happens.
I am being harassed by a slew of messages from [edited]
I have never played this person,or sent/received a message in any way.
why I suddenly get a strange,vague,sarcastic message...who knows.
I asked him to stop baiting, not interested.
I hoped this would stop.it have unsolicited, provoked more messages.
comments about the login "bernice ",who I do not know.
the only posssible connect I can see for this:
I recently dicovered the board "books">i posted 2?3? times this once a book suggestion.
I though it might be a good board for interesting books.
I now see more messages from this guy.
I have been told [edited] is known for behaving oddly. In my opinion unsuited for moderating.
".
I peeked at the board"books" & see this guy has blocked me from the board, this is unwarranted.
I have cut / pasted all,if It seems I have suddenly problem with a [edited]
do I sent it all the the sy operator & ask for help?
I'm sorry this guy is making me waste my time & yours on this.
Subject: Re: I have heard about thing kind of thing, but have never experienced this.can anyone help?
nobleheart: your not alone, this is typical behavior for him. I put him on my enemies list and hide on every board, took care of the problem. He is the only one that I have ever had to do this to, and I think that many others have done the same
Vikings: thank you to you & all who have sent me messages warning of this [edited] weird & irrational behavior.I hate to block anyone, never had before.but if I continue to be harassed unprovoked,I may have too.
I am still blocked unwarranted from the "books" board..too bad,it might have been a good literary source.but I have been told by so many that they avoid the board because of his abusive behavior.
its too bad the board did not have a mod that was more socially functional & stable.
EdTrice: thanks, but I wont bother, unless he cant show some self-control.what gets me is that I have never dealt with/talked to him before.
If I were to lash out at a stranger unprovoked,I'll be afraid they would think I needed help.anyway,I hope ignoring this guy will be the best way to deal with it for now.
Subject: Re: I have heard about thing kind of thing, but have never experienced this.can anyone help?
He was banned at one time for his behavior. Is it starting again? The big question then is...Why is he now a mod of a board?
Speaking of boards, I tried to go check to verify that he was indeed a mod. I think they are broken. If you don't have it added to your Favourites, you can't get to it. Can someone else check to see if it works?
I'm guessing for some reason, when the recent switch to the different languages, some users did not have a "prefered" language set or something - so no discussion boards would show up in the list. Once they change it, and change it back to what they want - the problem is fixed.
nobleheart: I'd say they're probably getting stuck with the portuguese foruns... I mean, that's what I (correctly) see when I change the language to portuguese.
Pedro Martínez: but "english" means St George and the flag (being English of course). The union jack represents England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland (i think?).
It's weird that when football is concerned, England (the english) are represented by the red cross, but generally the language is represented by the union jack? Does anyone know exactly why?
