fungame: We all have problems of some kind.I have installed 4 new windows in my computer to keep all my games active. You have been a memeber here for a year and half.By what is said on your profile and your record. You seem to like winning more then losing.I will not stand by and let ppl like this drag on games and prolong games for everone else in any of my Tournaments. So if you or anyone else has this thought of doing so will be removed from any of my up coming Tournaments. Also unfair play can remove you in my tournaments. If anybody does not like these Rules. Please do not enter them.My tournaments are held to have fun and enjoy for the average Player.I hope i haven't offended you or anyone else

I have just noticed he removed me from the other tourney also...and placed me on his enemies list...probably by the same reason as in the fungame's case but he didn't even send me a PM...*shaking head*...many people at BK know that when they catch me on-line I usually play our games till completion, neglecting thus other games, usually the chess ones...I didn't know it could bother anyone...moreover, I've been so damn busy at work last couple of weeks that I couldn't play faster even if I wanted to...

Subject: behaviour
It's very nice that certain people provide prize tournaments here and there. But I want to note that this doesnt give them a right to be rude.
I just experienced such behaviour. I play in certain tournament, I have some problems with connection lately and also I am shifting a bit the moves in my games where I have less experience and want to think about strategy in those first. It costs me vacation days, so it's ok in my point of view. And surely the time will come soon I will move faster in all my games.
But back to the thread. This certain person sent me a rude message in caps, citation 'ARE YOU GOING TO PLAY OR NOT'. Time of this message was 6:17 am my local time... Morning about 8:20 I saw this message and started to write a polite answer. But meanwhile this person, which was still logged on, put me to his ignore list, so when I pushed send button, it told me it's unable to send. And this person also removed me from other tournament of his, which has he full right for, but the remaining behaviour I find rude. And if he wants fast tournament, I see no problem to put that tourney f.e. 2 days per move. But I would consider polite if he wouldn't use caps and wait for an answer first before acting the way he did. May be someone from staff can talk with him or send him a message from me or something. I don't know, may be this board is not the right place but it certainly has something to do with tournaments...

The series is now half way through (although the first event has yet to finish) and already we have a lot of new entrants - I hope you are all enjoying the series.

But theres still time for new blood to experience the game, unrated players are welcome to wet their feet! A maximum BKR of 1500 is all you will be up against, so there's plenty of opportunity to explore without fear of getting slaughtered - I removed myself from the remaining tournaments once my BKR had increased beyond this limit.

Next event starts this coming Monday, so register now! http://brainking.com/en/Tournaments?trg=8476&u=14258&trnst=0

Remember, the winners will be invited to a tournament of champions at the conclusion of the 10th tournament.

i completed my 1st round games and i won my section. There were two sections. My opponent also won theirs. but our game hasnt started as of yet? How long will i have to wait until i can start the game? Their are still rd1 games goign on but my opp beat all the players still playing each other. Will we have to wait for them players to be finished as well before we can move onto rd2?

I bet Pedro Martinez will win, he is the best overall player there imho.
But it will be interesting competition, with oliottavio and George Miller participating, too. For me a lot of games is completely new and I have problems with organizing of my time for games and internet connection currently.

Even if a fellowship gets deleted, the games & tournament are still completed with the players that were on the team.

If you check out the "Player results" on that page, you will find the players in the fellowship that was deleted (no fellowship team listed.)

now having said that, it looks like all those players have already completed their 12 games for this team tournament, so it looks like there is a bug that is not recordng their wins/loses correctly. It will have to be something Fencer needs to look at.

no i meant the players on the teams that are still playing - ask them if they've moved in the games where the fellowships have been deleted

thats what i thought arpa, as nobody seems to have won/lost since them fellowships were deleted, but Fencer says that it continues, i suppose its best to ask one of the players who are playing the deleted teams

Fencer is aware of tournaments re-named posthumously (for want of a better word).
Until a solution is found it's probably best not to draw attention to them on a public board... hence the deletions. Sorry!
